Weddings - it's not a Scottish wedding unless you have a piper!

I have performed at hundreds of weddings across Scotland and the world over the past 25 years

The most important tasks for a piper on your big day are;

• Welcoming guests before the ceremony by playing tunes outside the church or venue

• Playing bride 'down the aisle' when requested. Sometimes this can be done as a duet with a church organ or another instrument. Check out the video on my homepage!

• Playing the newlyweds out of the ceremony and up the aisle

• Playing as guests gather outside to celebrate and for the all important confetti shot

• Some background music at the drinks reception - very importantly this is where I am highly sought after when compared with other pipers as I play Uilleann (Irish) pipes and whistles and regularly perform with guests musicians on fiddle (violin) or clarsach (harp). • Piping the top table in for dinner
